Answer. We will identify by the color change when the solutions dropped on the litmus paper then the Acidic solution will change the Blue litmus into Red and Red litmus into Blue and Neutral solution will not change the color of litmus

when we dip red litumus paper in acid it doesn't turn blue the colour remains same. while in basic it turns blue, and in neutral substances it doesn't turn any colour.
