Acidified water is electrolysed by using carbon electrodes. What is produced at :(a) positive carbon electrodes (b) negative carbon electrodes

When acidified water is electrolysed by using carbon rods ,

(a) Oxygen gas is liberated at Positive carbon electrode (anode) and,

(b) Hydrogen gas is liberated at Negative carbon electrode (cathode).
