Answer: Right to consumer means the rights which are given to the consumer by the government of India. Under this consumer have the right to have information about the quality, quantity, price and standards of the product.

Many unfair practises are also being practised by the traders, so governmnet has provided rights to the consumer to protect them against these practises. There are 8 rights which are made by the government for the same.
