Welcome dear,

● Answer -
Propyne on reaction with chlorine to give 1,1,2,2-tetrachloropropane as major product.

● Explanation -
- Alkynes undergo halogenation to give vinyl dihalides.

- For example, propyne reacts with chlorine to give 1,2-dichloropropene which on furthet chlorination gives 1,1,2,2-tetrachloropropane.
CH3-C≡CH + Cl2 ---> CH3-C(Cl)=CH(Cl)
CH3-C(Cl)=CH(Cl) + Cl2 ---> CH3-C(Cl)2-CH(Cl)2

Hope this helps ...
