  • Active metal = Mg (magnesium)

 Zn (s) + H_2SO_4 \rightarrow ZnSO_4 (s) + H_2 \uparrow (g) .

Reaction of Zinc metal with Sulphuric Acid yields Zinc Sulphate and Hydrogen gas evolved.
