Active transpor differ from passive transport in following ways—
1.In active transport energy is used that is why it is called active transport but energy consumption do not occure in passive transport.
2.In active transport, a substance is transferred against their concentration gradient but in passive transport substances are transported in their concentration gradient.
3.In active transport substances are generally Ions and in passive transport substances are generally water and gases.
