This happens because of refraction of light. We can't pick up the coin because that is image of object. The object is not there

Aim.... to demonstrate refraction of light.
Observation.... when the coin was not in line of sight of vision it was not visible but when filled with water rays of light coming from the coin bent and reached to our eyes and the coin was visible to the eyes.
conclusion. when rays of light enter some new medium the ray bends.
