y + 120 = 180

(linear \: pair)

y = 60

x + 60 + 50 = 180 \:  \:  \: (aspt)

x = 180 - 110

x = 70

Answer:

In the attachment, we can see that in ΔABC, ∠B= 50°.

∠ACD= 120°

∠ACD and ∠ACB are forming a linear pair.

∠ACD+∠ACB= 180°

120°+∠ACB= 180°

∠ACB= 180-120

∠ACB= 60°

y= 60° (y=∠ACB= angle C)

Now, ∠B= 50°; ∠Y= 60°

We just have to find ∠A, which is x.

Angle Sum Property of Triangle:

The sum of all three angles of the triangle should be equal to 180°

∠A+∠B+∠C= 180°

∠A+50°+60°=180°

∠A+110°= 180°

∠A= 180-110

∠A= 70°= x

x= 70°

y= 60°

Hope it helps
