Activity:

British introduced railways in 1853. The first train from Bombay to Thane.

Easy transportation and communication was the official reason cited by the British.

In reality, however, the railway lines served as vehicles taking the British colonizers to the interiors of India for easy exploitation of the country's riches.

As a journalist working for a nationalist newspaper, write a report exposing the true reason behind the introduction of Railways in India.
