Activity: HERBS THAT HEAL
Various plants have been used for medicinal purpose before the pre historic
period and in present scenario medicinal plants and herbs plays an important role
in curing healing and developing strong immunity. Nowadays herbs refer to any
part of plant like fruit seed, bark, flower, leaf, stigma or a root as well as a non
woody plant.
Collect information of seven (7) such herbs or medicinal plants and paste pictures
of them and also write their usage in respect to today’s scenario against corona
virus. Present your findings in a tabular form.

Dalchini has numerous medicinal properties and health benefits. It helps to maintain the blood sugar level, control vomiting, reduces breathlessness, strengthens heart muscles and more.
MULETHI:-
India has always had a tradition of classical Indian singers consuming mulethi to improve their voice and singing. This is owing to the bronchodilator and expectorant qualities of the root which can provide great ease in symptoms of asthma and also relieve cough, cold, sore throat and bronchitis.
GILOY GUDUCHI:-
Boosts Immunity. Guduchi is recognized to accord longevity, enhances memory, improves health, and bestows youth.
ASHWAGANDHA:-
Can reduce blood sugar levels. Might have anticancer properties. Can reduce cortisol levels. May help reduce stress and anxiety.
GINGER:-
Since the onset of the COVID-19, people have shifted to healthier, nutritional options to fight the virus and boost immunity. Health has become a top priority and many of us are trying to find 'home remedies' to fight the deadly virus.
TULSI:-
Tulsi is rich in Vitamin C and zinc. It thus acts as a natural immunity booster and keeps infections at bay. It has immense anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties which protect us from a variety of infections.
BLACK PEPPER:-
Piperine, an alkaloid present in pepper, could bind to novel coronavirus proteins and stop it from entering human cells. Black pepper, the everyday kitchen spice, as a possible candidate for developing a drug against the novel coronavirus disease.
