Plastic can be reduced at home by using cloth bags because polythene bags are harmful. Plastics are non bio degradable and they remain in soil for thousands of years.

Some ways to reduce plastics at home:-
(1)bring Ur own shopping bag while going market. Thus, the shopkeeper won't give the items in plastic bags or polythene.
(2) don't take straws while u can use glass.
(3)many creams come in plastic cover. So don't buy it as if u dispose it at any place it will pollute the environment.
(4)don't buy tea in trains as the vendor will give u tea in plastic cups. Carry Ur own container.
(5)never dispose plastics in the same bin dispose it in recyclable bin
