Thanks for asking the question
The adaptive techniques are used by various plants and animals in order to survive the harsh environmental condition or to save themselves from foreign threat. In case of mango the adaption is in the form of its roots. The roots of the plant goes way deeper in the ground and allows the plant to stay alive and fresh in the condition of drought when water is scarcely available. Moreover the leaves are mango are thick because of which water loss is prevented. In case of thin leaves water evaporated into the surrounding causing dryness in the plant. With thick leaves that loss can be prevented.
Hope it helps.
