Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

In algebra

different variables cannot be added or subtracted and only can be multiplied or divided.

Eg:- 4a + 5b=4a +5b

       4a -5b=4a-5b

      4a/8b=a/2b

       4a x 5b=20ab

or even degrees of variables

EG;- 4a + 5a^2=4a +5a^2

       4a -5a^2=4a-5a^2

      4a/8a^2=1/2a

       4a x 5a^3=20a^4

So therefore the sum of 2a + 5b - 3c=2a + 5b - 3c

No changes.

But only if there are values given to a ,b,c then it can be added

Eg:-If a=1,b=2,c=3

So substituting in 2a + 5b - 3c=2 x 1 + 5 x 2 - 3 x 3=12-9=3

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!!!
