add a force of 8n directed northwards to a force of 6n directed westwards and calculate the magnitude and the direction displacement

Here,

Maximum value of Net force=F

max

=A+B

=8+16=14N

Minimum value of Net force =F

min

=A−B

=8−2=2

∴ Force can take value as 14>F>2

Thus, 11N might be the force.
