Given:

5\frac{1}{5}+2\frac{1}{7}

First solve the 5 1/5 fraction and than 2 1/2 fraction

=\frac{5\times5 + 1}{5} + \frac{2\times7+1}{7}

=\frac{25+1}{5} +\frac{14+1}{7}\\

=\frac{26}{5}+\frac{15}{7}\\

And solve the this fraction and we get the answer

=\frac{(26\times7) + ( 15\times5)}{5\times7}

=\frac{182+75}{35}

=\frac{257}{35} \\=7.34

Hence the answer is 7.34 of the given fraction

Given that:-

5\times \frac{1}{5}+2\times\frac{1}{7}

As we have to simplify the add expression,

First, multiply the fractions,

=>\frac{5\times1}{5} +2\times \frac{1}{7}

=>\frac{5}{5} +2\times\frac{1}{7}

Now, find the greatest common factor of the numerator and the denominator,

=>\frac{1\times5}{1\times 5} +2\times\frac{1}{7}

Factor out and cancel the greatest common factor,

=>1+2\times\frac{1}{7}

Multiply the fractions,

=>1+\frac{2\times1}{7}\\=>1+\frac{2}{7}

By converting the integer into a fraction we get,

=>\frac{7}{7}+\frac{2}{7}

Adding the above fractions,

=>\frac{7+2}{7}

=>\frac{9}{7}
