Hey mate!!!

Here's your answer...

(a) 3/4 + 1/6

L.C.M. of 4 and 6 is 12

Making the bases same...

3/4 × 3/3 = 9/12

1/6 × 2/2 = 2/12

Adding both the fractions...

9/12 + 2/12 = 11/12

The answer is 11/12...

(b) 3/5 + 1/3

L.C.M. of 5 and 3 is 15

Making the bases same...

3/5 × 3/3 = 9/15

1/3 × 5/5 = 5/15

Adding both the fractions...

9/15 + 5/15 = 14/15

The answer is 14/15...

Hope it helps you...
