Any number or value which when added /subtracted/multiplied/divided with original number makes the value equals to 0.

=>Here ,The number is 16/15

=>The additive inverse of 16/15 is -16/15

 =  >  \frac{16}{15}  + ( - ) \frac{16}{15}  =  \frac{16}{15}  -  \frac{16}{15}  = 0

Here ,we see that -16/15 when added with original number it makes equal to 0.
