Given:

  • The edge of the tank = 1.5m = 150cm
  • Cost of 12 tiles = 480

Then:

Surface area of the tank = 5 x 150²

Area of each title = 25²

Therefore:

Number of title required = 5 × 150²/25² = 180

Cost of 1 tile = 480/12 = 40

➠180 × 40 = 7200

  • Therefore, the cost of 180 tiles = Rs.7200

Answer:

edge of the tank=150cm

surface area of the tank=5*150^2

area of each tile=25^2

so no of tiles req.=5*150^2/25^2=180

cost of 12 tiles =480

cost of 1 tile=480/12=40

cost of 180 tiles=180*40=7200....

hope it helps you...
