Aditya Manav purchased one scooter each for the same price. aditya sold it for ₹18400 and lost 8%. at what price should Manav sell it to have a profit of 6%?

Loss% =8 %

Then C.P. =

100−loss percentage

S.P.×100

=

100−8

100×18400

=Rs.20000

Now we know C.P.=Rs.20000

And Manav sold it at profit of 6%

Hence,Profit =

100

profit percentage×C.P.

=

100

6×20000

=

100

120000

=Rs.1200

Therefore S.P. or the price at which Manav sold it =20000+1200=Rs.21200
