let the sides be 7x and 8x,
perimeter=2(length+breadth)
150=2(7x+8x). (transpose 2 to LSH)
75=15x
5=x
now, substitute the value of x
length 7x=7×5=35
therefore the length is 35cm
breadth8x=8×5=40
hence the breadth is 40cm
