Adrenal Cortex develop from intermediate mesoderm.

The adrenaline glands are endocrine glands that produce a variety of hormone including adrenaline and steroids aldosterone and cortisol. they are found above the kidneys. each gland has an outer cortex which produces steroid hormones and an inner medulla.

Adrenaline are produce in the centre of the adrenal gland and in some neuron of the central nervous system. they are released into the bloodstream and serve as chemical mediators, and also convey the nerve impulse to various organs.
