Answer:
Advantages - The energy is free, Not a lot of waste, and can have a great deal of energy produced by waves.
Disadvantages - Sometimes there will not be a lot of waves (which means no energy), It could interfere with ocean ecosystems in the area of the currents, and the temperature is raised wherever ocean currents are happening (which could also ruin an ecosystem).
Those are some of the Advantages and Disadvantages of Ocean Currents on Earth.

ᴀᴅᴠᴀɴᴛᴀɢᴇs:-
- They have several significant advantages over other renewable energy sources: Predictable and reliable.
- Unlike wind, solar and other ocean energy sources such as wave power, tides and ocean currents are almost 100 percent predictable.
- The endless flows create reliability of the future energy availability.
ᴅɪsᴀᴅᴠᴀɴᴛᴀɢᴇs:-
- Ocean currents have no physical environmental damage.
- There are no major disadvantages to the Earth. There is, however, human damage.
- Bad weather causing the pattern of the waves to change can bring drownings, rip tides, or rough seas which are bad for shipping.
