ADVANTAGES:
 
1)Ocean thermal energy can be used continuously 24 hours a day throughout a year.
2) It is a renewable source of energy and it doesn't cause any pollution.

DISADVANTAGES:

1)Large scale exploitation is difficult at this moment.
2)It is very expensive.
