●available in various type
●provide high security resistance to termite attack
disadvantage: ●rust nd corrode easily when exposed to water nd air
●need high finish

firstly it should be corrosion instead of rusting

advantages

like coating of Al2O3 on aluminium because of exposure to oxygen in air
it can be used to carry acid or can be used in making containers to carry acids because it prevents from further corrosion

disdvantages

tonnes of iron is wasted every year because of formation of rust ( Fe2O3.xH2O )
it forms in presence of water vapour, oxygen in air
