Environmental pollution includes soil, air, and water pollution. The main type of pollution is water pollution. The adverse effects of environmental pollution are :

1) The water will be polluted, thus becomes unsafe for drinking and using. They will also cause water borne diseases.

2) The air become contaminated, thus make it unsafe for breathing. The chemicals in the pollutants which re exposed in the air also causes air borne diseases.

3) The soil loses its fertility

4) Nowadays, many animals die eating plastic. This will be increased.

5) It also leads to acid rain which ruins old monuments ( such as Taj Mahal, it's colour was white but due to acid rain, it has now become a yellowish tint ).
