Advertisements are a way of promoting a new product in the public scenario. There are many genuine advertisements as well as the ones which are just an eye-wash.
Ads in newspapers, TV, blogs, websites, road hoardings, giving scholarships, free samples are some examples of advertising.
Through advertisements, customers get to know the different options of products that are available for a specific utility function. They are made attractive and convincing that the consumer is forced to buy the product out of curiosity.
