Aerobic respiration:

● The respiration which occurs in the presence oxygen is known as aerobic respiration.

●In this respiration complete oxidation of glucose takes place.

●End products are Carbondioxide and water.

●Energy liberated is very high(38ATP).

Anaerobic respiration:

● The respiration which occurs in the absence of oxygen is called anaerobic respiration.

●In this the glucose molecule is incompletely oxidized.

●End products are either ethyl alcohol or lactic acid and Carbondioxide.

●Very little amount of energy is liberated (2ATP).
