Hi

Here BDR11

When an airplane is flying at high altitudes, it requires less fuel than the amount that is required at lower altitudes. ... Moreover, lower air density at high altitudesalso increases flight efficiency by decreasing the skin-friction drag produced by the interaction of air molecules with the surface of the aircraft.

Hope it helps U

Bye

shrimgautam: does it keep any relation with the wings of aeroplane..?
BDR11: only with wings it can fly. therefore there is a relation
shrimgautam: according to your answer jet planes consumes more fuel, am i right....?
