Let Rahul's age present age be "x" years.
After 32 years his age would be x + 32 years
His age 8 years go = x - 8 years

A.T.Q.,

x + 32 = 5(x - 8)

x  + 32 = 5x - 40

5x - x = 32 + 40

4x = 72

x = 18

Rahul's present age = x = 18 years.
