Let the two numbers be x andy.
Given 3x-x = 50
2x = 50
x = 25
3x = 3 * 25 = 75.
The integers are 25 and 75.

hello users......
we have given that
the difference between the two positive integers is 50
and
they are in ratio of 1:3
we have to find these integers
solution :-
let the first +ve integer be = x
and
2nd = 3x (because they are in ratio 1:3)
now
according to question :
3x -x = 50
=> 2x = 50
=>x = 25
so
the first +ve integer is = 25
and
second +ve integer is =25×3 = 75
