after a discount of 12% a toy was sold for rupees 132 what was the marked price of the toy?

Selling price of a toy (s.p)=Rs132


Discount (d) = 12%


Let the marked price = x


x = ( s.p × 100 )/( 100 - d )


=> x = ( 132 × 100 )/( 100 - 12 )


=> x = ( 132 × 100 )/88


=> x = 150


Therefore ,


Marked price of the toy(x )= Rs150
