After a good meal at a party you wash your hands and find that you have forgotten to bring your handkerchief. You shake your hand vigorously to remove the water as much as you can. Why is water removed in this process?

The force of adhesion between the particles of water and the hand is not enough to move the force applied by hand to the surface.

Explanation:

We wash our hands after a good meal at a gathering. After washing as we give the hand the acceleration, the water molecules are given the acceleration.

The acceleration produced gives them the opportunity to move away from the side.

Now, Concern Arises, how this acceleration has brought about.

Now, the Force acting on the particles of water is the centripetal force that caused the centripetal acceleration to increase.

This can also be described as, The force of adhesion between the particles of water and the hand is not enough to move the force applied by hand to the surface.
