Let x be the marked price. 12x/100+880=x
880=x-12x/100
880=x(1-12/100)
880=x(22/25)
x=880*25/22
x=1000. Answer
so the marked price is rs. 1000

"Selling price = rs.880 (given)

discount % = 12% (given)

as,

sp = mp \times (1 - \frac{discount\%}{100} )

so,880= mp ×(88÷100)

1000=mp

So marked price =rs.1000/- by using this above formula and given values , the student simply get answer for the given question in a fine manner. students can solve the answers using guide
