Let, the total distance be $\sf x$

ATQ,

$\tt \frac{3}{4} \times x = \frac{3x}{4}$

Then,

$\sf \frac{3x}{4} + 15 = x$

$\sf \frac{3x}{4} + \frac{15}{1} = x$

$\sf \frac{3x + 60}{4} = x$

$\sf 3x +60 = 4x$

$\sf 3x - 4x = - 60$

$\sf \cancel - x = \cancel- 60$

$\sf \boxed{x = 60km}$

Hence,

the distance of the total journey is 60km
