After cutting the wheat and beginning ti rice crope,farmers row a leguminous crop such as dal or lentil or pea in between.why? explain 3-4 sentences.in about 40to60 words.

it is because leguminous plat have nitrogen fixing bacteria in  the nodules present in the roots which help in nitrogen fixation and as nitrogen is an essential element for the growth of plants .thus it helps in the better crop production.the bacteria present absorbs nitrogen from the atmosphere and convert it into nitrates .
