to find the value of x and y after finding the HCF of a and b you can just substitute the values they reqiure to form into their original self
here I am giving u an example:
hcf of 56 and 72 represent in the form ax+by:
  72= 56*1+16
   56= 16*3+8
   16=8*2+0
u know by euclids divison lemma 8 is the HCF;
taking the hcf,
                      8= 56-16*3
8= 56-(72-56*1)*3
8= 56-3*72+56*3
8=56*4+-3*72
here you will find it in the form ax+by
where x= 4 and y= -3
