After flame of the candle burns off, why does water level rise in the jar?​

A quick rise of water in the jar after the candle is extinguished is mainly due to a decrease in pressure as a result of a decrease in amount of air in the jar due to thermal expansion during the process of placing the jar on thecandles, bubbles escaping (if any) through the water and may be the condensation
