let total distance be x
so,
distance left=15km
so,
x/4=15
x=60.
so,
distance left=15km
so,
x/4=15
x=60.

Let the total distance be x km
now, while covering 3/4th of the journey, the distance covered then would be
(x-15) km
now,given
3/4x=x-15
3x=4(x-15)
3x=4x-60
x=60 km
now, while covering 3/4th of the journey, the distance covered then would be
(x-15) km
now,given
3/4x=x-15
3x=4(x-15)
3x=4x-60
x=60 km
