Graafian follicle is replaced by a structure which has a fluid filled cavity called antrum cavity.It produced progesterone hormone.

It is a rupture of follicle releasing egg. The egg is then picked by oviducts , yellow colour fluid is formed called as corpus luteum which continues to secrete oestrogen and progesterone.
