Hello !

Itz Me Kushi !

Sometimes in undergraduate programs, there are core courses that all students have to take regardless of their specialization within their undergraduate programs. But, I have found that the early childhood students are not as focused as the other students in Primary School Education or Technical Vocational Education. Consequently, group work becomes very challenging as expectations for group behaviours are not the same among the different programme groups. How do you handle the mixed groups with different levels of maturity and focus in one class? I'll appreciate your contributions to this challenging situation.

Hope it helps u and plzz mark as the brainliest my mate and thank me If u really found it helpful and Follow me I will follow back...

Yes, after studying Teaching of Business Communication, will it be a challenge for you to teach English for Academic Purposes to a mixed ability class of under graduate level. However this challenge can be overcome with the right approach

Explanation:

  • The process of information sharing between people both in and outside an organization is business communication. How employees and management interact to achieve organizational objectives is an effective business communication. This aims to improve operational processes and reduce errors
  • Using the knowledge of business communication one can manage an undergraduate class of mixed ability.
  • Discussion is an important part of communication. Students can easily be frustrated with a mixed skills class. Students who are stronger may feel restrained and weaker may feel pressured. The professor will feel stressed. The best solution is to have an open discussion on the situation in the classroom-in order to make sure that everyone recognizes and agrees on how to deal with the situation. The conversation is probably best organized and performed.
  • The teacher can use a needs analysis to prompt the students to reflect upon their  learning strategies, learning style, learning enjoyment, language needs, motivation, language strengths and weaknesses. Encourage students to develop an awareness of their own language abilities and learning needs This is akin to a two-way channel  (in business communication) for transmitting ideas,  plans, feelings, commands,  reports, instructions, and suggestions that influence the attitude towards an organisation’s objectives.
  • In order to accomplish a task, a mixed activity involves students who talk or interact with many different class members in a short time. This means that each student has a stronger and weaker level of communication with his or her peers at different levels. It supports the weaker students and provides the stronger incentives.
  • The open discussion of the class situation will help to overcome some of the difficulties in mixed skills classes. The goal of these approaches is to create a positive working environment that enables a better learning climate.
