After the decline of the Delhi Sultans in the early 16th century, the Mughals began to rule over North India. Babur was the first Mughal ruler. The other important Mughal rulers were Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir, Shah Jahan, Aurangzeb and Bahadur Shah II.
The earliest Mughal coins are of silver and copper. Humayun was the first Mughal ruler to issue gold coins. Some of the most beautiful Mughal gold coins were issued by Akbar and his successors. These coins are called muhr or muhar meaning "seal".
Most of the Mughal coins are round or square in shape. Akbar, however, issued a few hexagon-shaped coins also.
So your answer is Humayun....
Hope it helps... If yes then do please mark as brainliest answer.... thanks

Akbar's monetary system was inspired largely by reforms of Sher Shah Suri. Sher Shah Suri introduced Rupya made of silver. Akbar adopted the same weight and measure used under the administration of Sher Shah Suri. Akbar issued coins made of gold, which was known as Mohurs. the weight of a Mohur was 170 grains. The gold coins or the mohurs were used by the members of the royal family, traders and the regional governors.
