<b>Answer :

Ratio of Present ages of Jash and Jainam = 7 : 9

Four years Later !

Ratio of their ages = 4 : 5

Let the common ratio = x

Present age of Jash = 7x

Present age of Jainam = 9x

 = > \frac{7x + 4}{9x + 4} = \frac{4}{5} \\ \\ by \: cross \: multiplication.... \\ \\ = > 5(7x + 4) = 4(9x + 4) \\ \\ = > 5 \times 7x + 5 \times 4 = 4 \times 9x + 4 \times 4 \\ \\ = > 35x + 20 = 36x + 16 \\ \\ = > 35x - 36x = 16 - 20 \\ \\ = > - 1x = - 4 \\ \\ = > x = 4

Hence,

Present age of Jash = 7x = 7 4 = 28 years.

Present age of Jainam = 9x = 9 × 4 = 36 years.

Thanks !

☺️ hey mate! here's your answer!☺️

let x be the ratio between their ages , such that,

age of jash = 7x

age of jainam = 9x

after 4 years,

age of jash = 7x + 4

age of jainam = 9x + 4

so, According to the question,

 \frac{7x + 4}{9x + 4}  =  \frac{4}{5}

then \:by \:  cross \: multiplication

5(7x + 4) = 4(9x + 4)

35x + 20 = 36x + 16

35x - 36x = 16 - 20

 - x =  - 4

x = 4

thus,

present age of :-

jash = 7x = 7×4 = 28 yrs ....answer

jainam = 9x = 9×4 = 36 yrs ....answer

hope it is helpful ✌️
