We will take the instance of biscuit and bakery MNC, Britannia Industries. Can you imagine the successful functioning of the corporation without of agricultural sector? All the raw material for biscuits and bakery products comes from the agricultural sector. Without wheat, nuts, sugar, milk, etc used in the production processes the company can’t produce scrumptious products that sell like hot cakes throughout the world.
Similarly, Amul, Lays, Sunfeast, Nestle, Cadbury, Patanjali, Parle, etc. MNCs that create billions of dollars business and generate employment opportunities and related services would not be possible without inputs from agricultural sector. So, we see how important agriculture sector is for the development of industrial sector. A country that plans to be prosperous and advanced must always maintain and preserve its agriculture. Research and development must be encouraged to find better means to improve agriculture. More efficient and environment friendly ways should be invented to keep the agricultural outputs in abundance. Only then the industrial development is possible.
