In Industrial Revolution, agricultural played an important role. It was first the revolution in agriculture which lead to the Industrial Revolution. The following arguments support that agriculture gives boost to the Industrial sector :

1.  Agriculture firstly provides raw materials like cotton, jute, sugar, edible oils, silk etc to the industries.

2.  The agriculture tools and equipments are produced in industries and thus agriculture provides market for industrial goods.

3.  The fertilizers, pesticides and fungicides etc are produced in industries.

4.  The industries like those providing processing, packing and distribution services are developed due to agriculture.
