Area of hall = 16 × 12 m^2
= 192 m^2
Side of the tile = 40 cm = 0.4 m
Area of tile = 0.4 × 0.4
= 0.16 sq. m
No. of tiles ×Area of single tile=Area of hall
n × 0.16 = 192
n = 16 × 12/(16÷100)
= 16 × 100/12
= 133.33 tiles
Cost of each tile = 15.5 Rs
Hence, Total cost = 15.5 × 133.3
Hence, Total cost = 2066.6 Rs.
Hope it helped....
