velocity=45km/h
a)in 1 min
s=v*t
s = 45*1/60 = 45/60 = 0.75 =750 m
[1min=1/60 hr]
[1km = 1000m]
b)in 1 second
s=v*t
s=45*1/3600=45/3600=0.0125km=12.5m

Given:

Velocity = 45km/h

To Find:

Distance covered in 1 min

Distance covered in 1 second

Solution:

Speed = 45 km/h

Time =   1 min or 1/60 hrs

Distance = Speed x Time

D = 45 x 1/60

= .75

=  0.75 km or 750 m

Time = 1 sec or 1/3600

 Distance = Speed x Time

D = 45 x 1/3600

= 0.0125

= 0.125 km or 12.5m

Answer: The distance covered in 1 min is 750m and in 1 sec is 12.5m
