\bold{Answer :}

Now,

∫ (cosx + sinx)² dx

= ∫ (cos²x + sin²x + 2 sinx cosx) dx

= ∫ (1 + 2 sinx cosx) dx

= ∫ (1 + sin2x) dx [ ∵ 2 sinx cosx = sin2x ]

= ∫ dx + ∫ sin2x dx

= x - 1/2 cos2x + c, where c is integral constant

Rule :

∫ sin (mx) dx

= - 1/m (cos mx) + c
