Sentence transformation -

✴Active to Passive :-

My work has been completed by me.

What's Active voice ?

✔ A verb is said to be in the active voice when the subject is the door of the action.

What's passive Voice?

✔ A verb is said to be in the passive voice when the subject of the verb receives the action. The subject is not the door of the action in passive voice.

◻ STEPS TO CHANGE THE VOICE ◻

1. When we change a verb from the active voice to passive voice, the object of the active verb becomes the subject and vice versa.

2. we can change the verb into past participle.

3. The tense of the verb does not change, only its form changes.

4. "By" is used with the agent of action (doer of the action) when it helps to come the complete sense.

However, exceptions are there.

5. Some indefinite and vague subjects like someone, somebody, everybody people etc are not included.

For example :

Someone has eaten the pudding (A.V)

The pudding has been eaten (P.V)

6. Sometimes, a verb in the active voice takes two objects - a direct object and an indirect object.

7. prepositions must not be left out with verbs requiring them.

Hope it helps ✔
