Why is the series arrangement not used for domestic circuits????

because if one resistor breaks or gets outta the circuit the entire circuit will get disconnected...

series arrangement is not use in domestic circuits because of the following reasons:
. each appliance does not operate at its rated voltage
. none of the appliance operate independently
.the voltage of the source gets divided.
