★ Water: we all are well aware of how important it is to support life . Without water , nothing can grow or prosper . So , here's my small attempt describing the importance of water »

★Everyone needs me to stay alive
Without me , nothing would survive .
I am the most precious resource
A resource that you all generously use .
★I tumble like torrents through the mountains so steep ,
Flowing through the lakes dark n deep .
Making my way through floods and the river plains
In the form of rain I drizzle down drains .
★I am found everywhere !
See me far n see me near .
Beating upon the sea shore ,
Drenching children from head to toe .
You can feel me every where
to wash up your hands and your hair .
★My origin is from the clouds you don't know
I fall through rain and sometimes snow .
I am a free spirit , born to be flow free
Finally surging my way to the big sea .
★I'll perish soon too
If misuse is all that you do !
If you don't use me as you should ,
I'll disappear away and yes I could !

the splendor raindrop — a world of glass in constant release.
from the kingdom cloud, falling like a toddler-robin,
landing on an impressed leaf
— it applauds with reverence.
the raindrop swells broad shoulders and a rainbow sheen.
though it clings, its grip loosens and once again
this parachute free falls, with an unburdened soul landing in a puddle,
suffering the scrupulous squelch of muddy water placed at this exact
moment for the splash of ecstatic boots worn by a preschool child.
